- Earning Their Keep 

In an editorial published today in the Palm Beach Post titled, Base a new Cuba Policy on Reality, not Belief, it is apparent that the newspaper’s editorial board has found the real reason behind Cuba’s 48 years of tyrannical rule and lack of democracy. According to the editorial, the current communist dictatorship enslaving the citizens of Cuba is not who is preventing a transition to democracy; it is actually the hard-line intransigent Cuban exile community in Miami.

The premise of this editorial implies that the Cuban-Exiles in Miami control US foreign policy towards Cuba and are therefore at fault for the suffering of Cubans on the island.

If you look at the anti-US embargo points articulated in this editorial, you will find them all to be familiar. They are the same talking points distributed on a daily basis by castro’s propaganda machine.

I have one question for the Palm Beach Post: Do you get paid in US dollars or Convertible Pesos?
